Thank You for a Fabulous Market Season 2022

As the season turns, we close one door and open another. We know there is a welcome respite for our farmers and ranchers as the fruits and vegetable season is coming to a close in Siskiyou County. October 17th is the last day of the Mount Shasta Farmers’ Market this season. We will re-open in May 2023.

One thing that is remarkable this year is that there is still so much bounty to be found. Corn, tomatoes, fennel, mushrooms, carrots, greens, sprouts, beef, and pork. Tamales, spring rolls, and baked goods galore. And unique and handmade treasures for your gift-giving this season.

We appreciate all the vendors who have come so regularly to bring you the fruits of their heart’s work. We celebrate locally grown food and we are grateful for all the connections that get made at the market and the palpable joy felt at every market.

We support all customers to purchase healthy food direct from the growers. We support kids to learn more about the vendors and spend their School Café dollars at the market. We gifted vouchers to people displaced by the Mills and Mountain Fires. We help stretch the EBT to spend at market by matching it up to $20 every market day.

We are grateful for your participation at our market.
